Tarot finds people and if you are reading this,

it has found you.

Tarot finds people and if you are reading this,

it has found you

It is possible you are at one of three points in your relationship with tarot:

  • Re-engaging with your sense of spiritual self and  with long lost interests;
  • Experiencing or recovering from complex issues that life has dealt you, or feeling burnt out or stuck in a rut;
  • Standing at a major fork in your life’s path and wishing for clarity.

It may even be all these things.

Whatever your reasons for reaching out to tarot, I aim to support you in that journey.

As you will see from the About Me page, I have worked in professional capacities with people from all over the work, and some of the most difficult circumstances humans can withstand.

Whatever has brought you to this page, my approach to transformational tarot, from a psychospiritual pathfinding perspective, allows you to reflect on what has happened in your past to get to this point, and explore the options open to you to move forward with a confident pathfinding approach.

About Me

My personal tarot journey began in Bangor – a small town in Northern Ireland, at 16 years old. My first deck was by Jonathon Dee, and I still have it in the same cotton sock (clean, I hasten to add!) as I first placed them in 20 years ago.

For the past 15 years, after I completed my PhD, I worked in universities lecturing, researching and mentoring on responses to conflict, violence, torture, and social harm. I have given public lectures and speeches in more than 20 countries, and went on to author and edit seven books in these areas, before coming back to tarot on a more holistic basis.

My passion for tarot and spiritualism reinvigorated during lockdown when – like so many people – I struggled desperately with the fear and uncertainty of the catastrophe unfolding before our eyes.

Victoria’s Tarot Trove

Victoria’s

Tarot Trove

In Summer 2023, I opened my first venture into taking tarot out into the world – Victoria’s Tarot Trove – in the Red Brick Market, Liverpool. I have always dreamed of an esoteric space of my own, where I can curate tarot related books and decks for sale as well as make some of my own products, including my Tarot Spell Jars, mediation and inspiration images, and tarot related jewellery. RBM was the perfect place for a new Trove and a resident reader!

I also offer walk in and booked readings for 30 minutes and am mostly based here at weekends, but you can always get in touch to book if I am booked up (or off galivanting with my two dogs!).

As we collectively emerged from isolation, so too emerged a new love of learning. After so many years focussed on violence and harm, I had forgotten that the world also hold beauty, art and magic. Most of all, I had forgotten it holds hope.

From there, I regained energy to re-engage with tarot on a sustained spiritual and academic path that allowed me to learn, and support others to grow. Studying under the mentorship of Tarot Master Avril Price, I put my practice back into growing my unique psychospiritual pathfinding approach to transformational tarot for teaching and consultation.

I look forward to continuing to share this magical journey with you.

What I Offer

What I

Offer

In both teaching and reading tarot, I aim to act as a catalyst for positive change in the lives of people who wish to see themselves develop or look deeply at your life path and decision-making processes. I offer consultations on pathfinding tarot, as well as one to one teaching and mentorship.

One to one consultations

1:1 consultations

Full 1-to-1 consultations last one hour, either in person at my home, or via Zoom online. In some instances, with prior agreement, I can do call out consultations in person depending on distance. These will have added costs and travel. Before your first reading we will have a free initial 10 minute consultation by phone or online.

Price: £60 per hour. First consultation is £45.

Teaching Transformational Tarot classes, workshops and masterclasses

Teaching Tarot classes, workshops and masterclasses

As a lecturer of 15 years, teaching is my passion. Throughout the year I organise workshops at various levels and focussing on multiple aspects of tarot, including introductory classes; masterclasses in specific areas of the tarot (such as the Major arcana, Minor arcana, wheel of the year tarot, and lunar phases); and reading intuitively together. Please see my upcoming events page for exciting information!

Positive Pathfinding
Packages

Positive Pathfinding
Packages

As my Further Information page shows, I am experienced in working with survivors of some of the most traumatic and challenging backgrounds, as well as people who have lost hope, burned out, or feel stagnant or stuck, including professionals working with survivors of violence or injustice too.

These packages are 3 sessions long, usually within a one-month period, and aimed at those who are at pressure points in life, or who wish to have psychospiritual support when reaching a fork in their path and journey.

This will generally draw from examining your numerological path life numbers alongside tarot. It includes an intention setting session, and supports you to think about manifesting positive changes.

Price: £200 for 3x 1 hour consultations, including personal life path focus. These should only be undertaken on a yearly basis.

Group teaching events

Group teaching events

If you and some friends or family are interested in tarot but don’t know where to start, or are looking to celebrate an occasion with something more to come away with than a hangover, then these may be for you!

In a typical event, I will give an introductory background to tarot; outline the difference between the major and minor arcana (or ‘mysteries’); and introduce intuitive reading. Card decks will be provided and available for sale.

Price: £200 for 2-hour package. Maximum attendees: 10 unless otherwise agreed (extra costs apply). Price does not include travel expenses so please email me in advance if you wish me to join more than 10 miles from Liverpool.

What do I not do?

What do I

not do?

I work psychospiritually and intuitively, but I am not a fortune teller, and my consultations are not a fortune telling or mediumship experience. My practice is a reciprocal opportunity for a deep dive into self-development and guidance for those aiming for clarity on themselves, their life paths, and personal choices.

‘I felt that Vicky intuitively understood how I am currently feeling with where I live and about the scale of the tasks facing me, offering me practical advice and clarity about how others see me, this gave me an objective perspective of me which was very useful to hear’.

Alison Costello

‘A thoughtful and thorough reading, infused with practical and compassionate elements. Vicky’s guidance and grounded approach was essential to reducing my feelings of overwhelm’.

Reema Puri

‘I really loved my tarot reading with Vicky. I felt she was very intuitive and her knowledge and exploration of the cards was amazing! I found her explanations clear and thoughtful and I loved the way she kept finding deeper meanings in the cards that had been chosen. She is a natural people person and clearly has a gift for making people feel safe, heard and well supported’.

Tarot crafts

I love to have something to take away with me and focus on for personal development, or as a reminder of personal goals, and I like my clients to have this too. To make sure people have a focal point after consultations, I handmake tarot intention bottles, bespoke and each related to the reading and its outcomes. I pick and press flowers myself, and mix these with herbs or crystals which resonate with the card included.

One bottle is included in each in-person consultation sessions, and I intermittently sell handmade tarot necklaces and handmade runes. Follow my @victorias_tarot_love Instagram to find out when these will be available and how to buy them!

Teaching Skills, Qualifications and Publications

Teaching Skills, Qualifications and Publications

I love to teach, and learn from teaching. I am qualified to teach to Higher Education level, and hold a Post Graduate Certificate for Teaching in HE with Distinction.

I have been lucky enough to have been invited to more than 20 countries to give lectures and public talks about my long-term research expertise – violence, sexualised violence, social harm, and impacts of torture. Whilst my work with Tarot is very separate to these aspects of my life and work, my experiences of learning from survivors of conflict and torture, as well as practitioners who work in supporting survivors, deeply informs my practice, ethics, and objectives. Indeed, learning from such amazing and diverse personal histories has influenced my motivations toward supporting pathfinding, with Tarot as the key tool for transformation.

I hold the following qualifications PhD; PGCert (with Distinction); BA (Hons) as well as a Diploma in Tarot from the College of Psychic Studies.

Although you can look up further articles and writings online, my key texts relating to my research subject area are all below:
